The Mississippi Law Journal is pleased to announce the election of Taylor Davis as Editor-in-Chief for Volume 94.
Taylor is from D’Iberville, Mississippi, and is the daughter of Kevin Davis and Daphne Dykes-Davis. Aside from Mississippi Law Journal, Taylor is also a member of Moot Court Board, serves as the Education Chair of the Black Law Students Association, is a member of Phi Delta Phi, and is a 2023 Business Law Fellow. While in law school, Taylor has achieved the Outstanding Student Award in Contracts.
Taylor received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of South Alabama.
Last summer, Taylor was a summer associate at Bradley Arant in Nashville, Tennessee and at International Paper through their in-house counsel internship program in Memphis, Tennessee. This summer, Taylor plans to return to Bradley Arant in Nashville, Tennessee. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys baking, singing, reading classic novels, and the gym.
Taylor is most excited to work with her student colleagues to create an outstanding volume of legal scholarship with Volume 94. She envisions the Mississippi Law Journal continuing to advance to new heights while also staying true to its mission and founding principles.
